Student Poster Competition

Who can participate?

VetCon 2026 is pleased to host a Student Poster Competition to encourage academic excellence, research communication, and innovation among veterinary and animal science students in Nepal. This competition provides a national platform for students to showcase their research, exchange ideas with professionals, and receive constructive feedback from experts across diverse fields of veterinary science.
The competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in any recognized university in Nepal. Posters will be evaluated by a panel of experts based on scientific quality, originality, clarity of presentation, and relevance to veterinary and One Health priorities.

How do I submit?

Submit your abstract and complete the registration through our website before the abstract submission deadline.

Are there prizes?

Yes, winners receive certificates and other exciting rewards in both categories as follows:
Undergraduate Category:
1st Place – Best Undergraduate Poster;
2nd Place – Runner-up;
3rd Place – Merit Award.
Graduate Category:
1st Place – Best Graduate Poster;
2nd Place – Runner-up;
3rd Place – Merit Award.

Can I submit as a group?

Group submissions are accepted with up to four members.

When will winners be announced?

Winners will be announced and formally recognized with awards on the final day of the conference, 11 April 2026.

Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to participate.

When and how will student posters be presented?

Poster presentations will take place on 10th and 11th April, 2026 at the conference venue. Presenting students will receive their assigned presentation schedule prior to the start of the conference. All students are required to present a physical (printed) poster during their scheduled session.
